The Harry Potter Magic Caster experience allows fans to pair a smart wand with their mobile app, turning their smart home devices into interactive elements of the wizarding world. Through the app, users can control lights, speakers, and other devices by casting spells with the wand. This seamless integration transforms everyday actions into magical experiences, immersing fans deeper into the Harry Potter universe.
My Role
As a UX/UI Designer, I worked alongside a team of other designers to create the mobile app experience. I focused specifically on pairing the devices to the app, creating the varying Harry Potter profile experiences for each Hogwarts houses, and crafting content for in-person user testing interviews.
